Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a dedicated team member for evening, full-time hours in hospital nutrition services. The role focuses on safe food handling, patient meal delivery, and accurate diet coordination to support patient well-being.

You'll work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring high service standards, using nutrition software, and maintaining clean work areas while delivering compassionate customer service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in hospital food service and customer service preferred.
• Good knowledge of modified diets and patient meal coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of patients and team members following HACCP and health guidelines.
• Deliver meals to patients and verify menu selections and diet orders.
• Enter menu selections accurately in nutrition service software and support meal service operations.
• Assist with trays, snacks, and routine dish room duties and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Handle customer service issues professionally and escalate when needed.
