Job summary

Flex is seeking a Material Handler in Dallas, Texas to support inbound and outbound shipment activities. You will work Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, loading/unloading with forklifts, verifying counts, and staging materials. Responsibilities include creating receipts, inspecting items, and maintaining ERP records.

Strong communication and organizational skills required. Experience in shipping/logistics and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks safely
• Verifies the quality and count of items unloaded; report discrepancies
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions
• Stage received material and product in correct location
• Create shipping and receiving receipts in the system
• Inspect received material/product and reject if not meeting quality standards
• Maintain inventory systems to update orders and provide billing documents
• Stage product for pickup by shipping carrier
• Perform other related duties as assigned
