Team 1 Plastics in Albion, MI is seeking a reliable Material Handler to keep production stocked with raw materials, colorants, and packaging, and to support mold changes and equipment maintenance.

You will operate loaders and dryers, manage scrap and runners, and ensure accurate material flow in a fast-paced 24/7 facility that serves automotive customers. High attention to detail and good basic math are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Strong math abilities and attention to detail essential.
• Proficient with basic technology and equipment operation.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loaders and dryers function properly at molding cells during the shift.
• Tend to alarms related to dryers, loaders, and grinders.
• Transport dryers, gaylords, and bins to molding cells.
• Remove completed run material from press and replace with new material.
• Clean press loading system during tool changes and set up regrinding equipment.
• Retrieve and replace runner bins; manage scrap and material flow.
• Load runner gaylords onto scrap trailer and ensure accurate material staging.
