Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintenance or labor experience helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic problem-solving ability.
• Dependable and willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with older adults.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies.
• Ability to safely use basic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, equipment repairs, painting and general building maintenance.
• Assist with room setups and outdoor upkeep; participate in preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
