Job summary

UNTWN Uniontown Hospital is seeking an experienced facilities technician responsible for general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC. The role includes boiler operation, preventative maintenance, and adherence to safety procedures to support patient care environments.

You will troubleshoot electrical circuits, maintain building systems, and coordinate with other trades to complete renovations and repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver's License required.
Six months of commercial facility maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC across the facility.
Respond to maintenance work requests promptly to ensure patient care quality.
Conduct operational inspections on facility equipment and assist other tradespeople.
Operate and maintain high‑pressure boilers safely and according to procedures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.
Inspect, calibrate, and repair HVAC and ventilation systems; perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and piping systems; construct and install related utility lines.
Plan and execute small projects in carpentry and related trades; manage shopkeeping duties.
