Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking entry level and experienced security officers to join our growing team in Minnesota. This role focuses on loss prevention, checking orders, and guiding customers in a lumber yard environment.

You will work Tue–Sat, 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm, at $19 per hour, with full-time and part-time shifts available. Training is provided and benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
