Job summary

SGMC Health Careers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer nursing care in a personal care home setting on an evening shift. You will supervise aides in the absence of the Nurse Care Manager and help ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a GA LPN license, CPR & First Aid certification, and 16 hours of annual in-service training. Experience in an assisted living facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Georgia.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• 16 hours annual In-Service Training required by the Department of Community Health.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care in a personal care home setting under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Oversees Personal Care Attendants and related staff when Nurse Care Manager is not on site.
• Participates in implementing and evaluating patient care; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintains health, comfort, and safety of residents; follows facility policies.
