Job summary

Paris Health and Rehabilitation in Paris, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents, assist with rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high standards of care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

The ideal candidate holds a valid LPN license, BLS/CPR certification, strong clinical skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support residents' recovery goals including PT/OT/ST plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
