Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services, LLC in Griffin, GA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its permanent staff on a full-time night shift from 7pm to 7am with a rotational schedule.

You will administer injections, draw labs, perform head-to-toe assessments, and assist MD/APRN while educating patients on medications.

Qualifications

• Current State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• CPI Certification (can be obtained during orientation).
• Minimum of one year paid LPN experience in direct patient care in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections, draw labs, and complete head-to-toe assessments.
• Log in/out sample and patient assistance medications.
• Log and dispose of expired medications and complete prior authorizations for medications.
• Re-order prescribed injections as needed.
• Assist MD/APRN as needed, including taking and entering verbal orders in the electronic health record.
• Educate individuals on medications, including adverse reactions, side effects, and benefits.
