Job summary

Valet Living in Illinois is hiring part-time Service Valets to collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps at local communities, using an open-bed pickup or tow vehicle with a trailer. Expect a stable evening schedule close to home.

You'll walk the properties, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather, with pay of $21.50/hr for truck work or $20.50/hr otherwise. Most shifts are Sunday–Thursday after 7–8 PM; DailyPay is available, and this role fits as a reliable second job

Qualifications

• Own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with an open utility trailer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app and receive SMS communications.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently and follow a routine.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport to on-site compactor using your truck or tow vehicle with trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift within the same local area.
• Walk between properties, climb stairs, and work outdoors.

• Use the mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed.

What You’ll Do

Every service night, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, so it's gone by morning.

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, and willingness to receive SMS/text communications throughout the pre-employment process and employment, including updates, scheduling, and work-related information
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
