Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license is required.
• At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation and stand/walk/sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Load and unload trailers, including manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and overhead lifting.
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities.
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices/manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night.
