Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a detail‑oriented shipping/receiving colleague to assure quality product and accurate shipping documents. You’ll tag products, enter data in SAP, and support materials transactions while working with supervisors, peers and vendors.

The 2nd/3rd shift runs 7pm–3:30am, Monday–Friday with overtime on Saturdays. A high school diploma or GED is required; strong teamwork and safety focus are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively across a wide audience (Coordinators, Peers, Supervisors, vendors, Truck Drivers, Purchasing, Production Control, Leads).
• Familiar with product lines and naming methodologies.
• Accurately tag product for shipping.
• Accurately enter data in SAP and complete materials transactions.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with product lines and naming methodologies.

• Assist in PPI investigation.
• Participate in improvement activities.
• Complete Logs as requested.
• Accurately tag product for shipping.
• Follow safety rules.
• Must be able to work a schedule that can vary daily.
• Ability to work overtime (50+ hours per week) is required.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Accurately enter data in SAP and complete materials transactions.
• Identify and constructively articulate deficiencies in paperwork.
