Qualifications

• Experience with seniors or activities/recreation is helpful but not required.
• Friendly, patient, and upbeat with a genuine interest in older adults.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable engaging small groups and individuals.
• Reliable, organized, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to assist with light physical tasks, including pushing wheelchairs.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead evening activities.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to individual needs and abilities.
• Escort and assist residents to and from programs within the building.
• Help with set-up and clean-up of program spaces and supplies.
• Support special events and seasonal programs as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
