Job summary

Virginia Department of Veterans Services seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant for PRN evening shifts at the Puller Veterans Care Center. The role supports weekend therapeutic recreation and assists the Activities Coordinator with program delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, has prior experience in a skilled nursing facility Activities Assistant role, and maintains a Virginia driver’s license; formal education or related experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in a skilled nursing facility.
• Related education and/or experience a plus.
• Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, execute all therapeutic recreational activities on the weekends,
• and carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Activities Coordinator or Activities Director.
