Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a Lead Residential Care Specialist for the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift in Jackson, MS. The role balances supervisory duties with direct youth care in the CARES Center, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to safety protocols.

The position requires experience with children and adolescents, leadership capability, and strong English communication. It is an on-site, full-time role with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children and adolescents is required.
• Some college education is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English; clear communication is essential.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Provide supervision of Residential Care Specialists and youth during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate with CARES team for mission delivery and shift continuity.
• Assist training, scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary needs with Residential Life Coordinator and Residential Training Coordinator.
• Engage youth in therapeutic activities and teach coping, communication, and pro-social skills.
• Maintain safety through supervision, documentation, and incident reporting.
