Job summary

Miller's Health Systems is seeking a Laundry Assistant to maintain clean patient and house laundry, ensuring a steady supply of clean clothing and linens for patients, families and staff.

You will follow safety and infection control guidelines while interacting positively with patients, families and coworkers. The shift is 4pm–8pm on weekdays with alternating weekends, and pay ranges from $15.00 to $15.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains general cleanliness and sanitation of patient and house laundry.
• Ensures a steady supply of clean clothing, linens and other items for patients, families and staff.
• Monitors laundered items and identifies those needing repairs.
• Adheres to state and federal safety, infection control and other applicable standards.
• Responds to requests from supervisors, patients, families and staff and interacts positively with all.
