Job summary

Hancock Regional Hospital seeks an MLT/MT/CLS for the Evening Shift Technologist role. You will collect samples, analyze specimens, perform quality control, and assist with instrument maintenance while reporting results to supervisors.

The position requires accurate color perception, excellent customer service, and participation in weekend/holiday rotations with some scheduling on all shifts. Reports to the lab supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in medical technology or life sciences.
• Board-registered or eligible for national registry (ASCP/HEW) preferred.
• Excellent customer service and accurate testing credentials.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples, analyze specimens, perform QC and instrument maintenance.
• Report results and assist clerical functions; troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain accuracy while handling multiple tests and weekend coverage.
