Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and certificate from a school of medical technology, or supervisory qualifications per NYS DOH.
• Prefer certification by a nationally recognized clinical laboratory certifying agency.
• Hold a valid NYS License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory services at assigned sites (Albany Memorial, Samaritan, St. Mary’s Campus or St. Peter’s Hospital).
• Staffing, scheduling, training, budgeting, materials management, and performance appraisals.
• Oversee test menu and turnaround times; ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with SPHP Manager to coordinate daily activities and align with mission and values.
