Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Specialist II for the Evening shift in Princeton, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and operate analytical instruments, including robotic systems, to support sample analysis and ensure timely runs.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in science, strong Word/Excel skills, and experience in regulated environments; bilingual English proficiency is required. This position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or College degree in Science or related field.
• Good computer skills especially in Word and Excel and an aptitude for various analytical instrumentation operating programs.
• Experience in regulated environment is required.
• English level: Required bilingualism includes understanding simple messages and following basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and rectify analytical system hardware and configuration issues.
• Install and validate new analytical equipment according to defined processes.
• Operate robotic equipment supporting sample analysis.
• Optimize the analysis conditions of analytical systems.
• Verify the accuracy of analytical instrument components.
• Start analytical runs within the required timeframes in order to maximize the use of analytical instruments.
• Assist in coordinating the use of analytical instruments.
• Assist in analyzing and interpreting chromatographic results.
• Assist with the integration and revision of chromatograms using specialized computer applications.
• Assist with the training of analytical instrument users.
