Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to join our team in McLean, VA. You will handle basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other facilities, using vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.

The role includes multiple shifts and both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform physical duties (bend, lift, stand for long periods).
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites is required.
• Willingness to work assigned hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean basic areas including restrooms, common areas, entrances, elevators, and stairs.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; clean and restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Respond to incidental spills and related cleanup tasks as needed.
• Support additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
