Job summary

Heritage Building Maintenance is hiring for a janitorial position in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves performing cleaning tasks in office and medical buildings, following proper safety and cleaning protocols, and delivering quality customer service to clients.

The schedule includes full-time evening shifts (5pm–1:30am or 5:30pm–2am, Mon–Fri, location varies). Pay is $15–$16 per hour, with benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, 401K with company match, paid holidays after 90 days,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Maintain janitor closets and equipment.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of chemicals.
• Wear PPE at all times.
• Follow oral and written instructions and work with a team or independently.
