Job summary

ServiceMaster Chesapeake is seeking a part-time, Monday–Friday after 5pm custodian to create cleaner, healthier environments for client facilities. The role involves cleaning tasks, PPE usage, and light security duties, with on-the-job training available.

Typical compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, with a focus on reliability and a positive work attitude within a franchisee-operated environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian or janitor is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products and procedures.
• Clean floors, dust, vacuum, wipe surfaces, trash, windows, and move furniture as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use appropriate PPE as required.
• Open/lock facilities and manage security system as needed.
