Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean and safe facilities. The role includes sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, trash removal, window cleaning, and equipment upkeep in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a swing shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM) with a comprehensive benefits package. Prior cleaning experience is a plus, and ABM prides itself on being veteran-friendly and accommodating to those returning to work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
