Job summary

Cleaners Extraordinaire in Sidney, OH is seeking a Contract Supervisor to manage janitorial and grounds-keeping duties at ODOT District 7 Headquarters. Qualifications

• Supervisory experience required.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with staff and the public.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have own transportation to travel between locations.
• Awareness of surroundings and safety awareness.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to handle emergency situations.
• Ability to work abnormal hours.
• Experience working with disabled populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial and grounds-keeping duties at the ODOT District 7 Headquarters.
• Supervise staff, conduct interviews and new hire orientations.
• Lead safety trainings and disciplinary discussions as needed.
• Complete paperwork for payroll, disciplinary reports and separations.
• Assist in bi-weekly supplies and program equipment ordering.
• Take calls and arrange staff coverage for shifts.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the customer.
• 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour shifts 4pm-12:30am.
