Job summary

ServiceMaster Commercial Building Cleaning by Acker is seeking a dependable full-time janitorial team member for an evening shift in Omaha, NE. The role involves cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, with responsibilities including mopping, dusting, and waste removal.

You will work Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00pm while school is in session. Ideal candidates have prior janitorial experience, strong attention to detail, and a professional, self-motivated work ethic.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule consistently and reliably when school is in session.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout a shift.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties at the Happy Hollow Blvd location.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and auto scrub floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Clean classrooms.
• Clean common areas and hallways.
