Job summary

Harvard Maintenance in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team. This role includes cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, entrances, elevators, and common areas, with a focus on safety and quality.

Multiple shifts are available: 4pm–9pm and 6pm–10pm. Experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is important. The position offers a competitive wage of USD 15.93 per hour and a benefits package, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
