ABM Industries in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe environment and a positive experience for occupants.

The role supports after-hours shifts, Mon-Fri 5:30pm–8:30pm, with pay $17.78 per hour. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior janitorial experience; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings and events as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
