Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor for evenings (Tuesday/Friday) at client sites. You will perform all-purpose cleaning and basic maintenance, following client specifications and safety guidelines.

The role offers $14 per hour with weekly pay. On-the-job training is provided; a high school diploma or equivalent and attention to detail are preferred. Flexibility and reliability are valued traits for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
