Job summary

ESS Clean, Inc. in Eureka, Illinois, is seeking a Part-Time Evening Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a local educational facility. This role offers a consistent weekday evening schedule, 20 hours per week, with pay of $16.50 per hour. Training is provided and previous custodial experience is a plus but not required.

You will perform cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, follow cleaning procedures, and report safety concerns.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and ready for the next day. Duties may include:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Emptying trash and recycling
• Cleaning entryways, glass, and frequently touched surfaces
• Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies
• Following established cleaning procedures and schedules
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
