A leading psychiatric hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Licensed Therapist to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's in a related field and a valid state license, along with experience in mental health services. Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102‑bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Temple, Texas. The Licensed Therapist conducts individual and family assessments, develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans as part of an inter‑disciplinary team, consults with psychiatrists and other specialists regarding treatment plans, facilitates prescribed clinical services, documents interventions and patient responses, and provides referrals to outside resources. Supports clinical department initiatives including quality improvement projects, patient outcome processes, and onboarding of new personnel while maintaining service delivery to state licensing and JCAHO accreditation standards.
The Licensed Therapist will conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, consult with the multidisciplinary team, document interventions, and provide referrals to outside resources. Additional duties involve supporting quality improvement and onboarding initiatives and ensuring compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical‑related mental health field.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of direct mental‑health service provision (outpatient psychiatric care preferred), with experience in case management, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Strong clinical assessment skills are required. Combination of education, licensure, and experience or student internship hours may be considered.
License: Current and active state licensure as LPC‑I, LPC, LPC‑A, LMFT‑A, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW.
Additional Requirements: Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Basic Life Support) for healthcare professionals, annual professional skills verification, and Handle‑with‑Care behavioral management certification.
