Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking an Intake Coordinator for PRN evenings to support admissions operations at our Bowie facility. You will explain and sign admission paperwork, verify driver’s license and insurance information, and create client treatment files.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s in a human services field preferred) and attention to detail in documentation. You will coordinate with Probation/Parole/Employers when needed and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain and sign admission paperwork
• Process and copy driver’s license/insurance information
• Create/start client treatment file
• Contact Probation/Parole/Employer if needed for the client and assist in obtaining a letter for admission/discharge
• Facilitate admission/discharge communications across departments
• Maintain paperwork and notes for client stay/discharge
• Conduct level of care assessments
• Complete aftercare goals and discharge summaries
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education
