Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking an evening shift, full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. The role focuses on optimizing patient care through safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing and IV admixture programs.

You will work under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and may supervise technicians and support staff; licensure and certifications are required, with ACLS and BLS prerequisites for direct patient care.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification (ACLS required for attending Code Blue).
• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information.
• Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
