Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and empty trash.
• Restock housekeeping and sanitation supplies.
• Follow established infection-control and safety procedures.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Maintain resident privacy and treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Work cooperatively with nursing and other facility departments.
