Nebraska Methodist Health System, located in Council Bluffs, IA, is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Aide to support hospital inventory management and central supply operations. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months of prior inventory restocking experience.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication to interact with staff and customers.
• Basic computer and handheld data entry skills are preferred.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend various reports and documents.

Responsabilités

• Maintains adequate medical supply levels by replenishing par levels in SCM locations and entering data.
• Delivers requested supplies to assigned replenishment locations in a timely manner.
• Cleans patient equipment per Infection Prevention procedures and rotates stock before expiration.
• Restocks the Central Supply area daily and removes items near expiration.
• Collects, returns, and credits unused supplies per SCM procedures.
• Communicates supply replenishment issues to the Lead Inventory Coordinator.
• Assists with other Supply Chain functions as needed (receiving, mailroom, etc.).
• Learns operation of handheld devices and department equipment.
• Handles customer requests with proper etiquette and accuracy.
• Completes tasks and duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager and participates in continuous improvements.
