Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System is seeking an evening shift, full-time Pharmacy Technician in Tulsa, OK to join our patient-centered team. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist with non-clinical medication preparation and support pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate is a High School graduate or GED, holds an active Pharmacy Technician registration if required by state, and demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• National Certification (CPhT) may be required by state of employment.
• Current BLS may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required.
• Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
