Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper performs terminal cleaning of rooms after patients are discharged.
• Cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms.
• May include making beds, emptying trash, wiping equipment, cleaning furniture, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning restrooms, laundering hospital linen.
• Daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment and other assorted duties.
