Job summary

Nazareth Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean and safe environment across hospital facilities. The role is part-time, evening shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) with every other weekend commitment, based at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia.

The EVS Associate will perform general cleaning tasks, promote sanitary conditions, and respond to emergencies, spills, and other duties as assigned to support patient care and a safe environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital.
• Promotes sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors.
• May be required to perform tasks involving exposure to visible or expected blood contamination; duties may extend to adjacent buildings.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, spills, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
