Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Environmental Service Technician for Per Diem - Evenings to maintain hospital cleanliness and support adjacent facilities.

You will travel between facilities as needed, respond to communications via phone, radios, and pagers, and work as part of the housekeeping team to meet high standards of sanitation.

Eligible candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 1 year in acute care ES, with strong reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.
• Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, etc.
