Responsibilities

• Disinfect patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff and visitor areas to enhance patient safety and infection control.
• Perform collection, storage, and disposal of general medical waste, biohazard material, chemotherapy, sharps and soiled linen per policies.
• Interact with patients and visitors to provide directions and hospital information.
• Execute project work such as cubicle curtain changes, floor refinishing, carpet cleaning, and wall washing.
• Prepare patient rooms and exam rooms for new patients, including disinfection and supply replenishment.
