Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including dusting mirrors/glass, emptying trash, shining brass, stripping floors and renewing finishes.
• Assures towel and toilet dispensers are filled as required.
• Keep stairs and stairwells dusted and free from debris.
• Moves furniture, beds and supplies as required.
• Picks up and disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Washes floors in corridors, bathrooms, offices, lounges and patient areas.
• Spray and buffs floors as required.
• Maintains wash tubs, sinks and toilets.
• Checks for fire hazards and reports issues to supervision.
• Maintains equipment, supplies and area in neat, orderly condition.
• Observes hospital policies, safety and security.
• Performs other related duties as required.
