Samaritan Summit Village is looking for a Part-time Home Health Aide to support our community. The role requires a Home Health Aide Certificate, medication certification, and Heartsaver First Aid within 3 months of hire.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively with patients and staff. Candidate should have at least one year of Home Health Aide experience, flexibility to work evenings, and the ability to handle stress with discretion and diplomacy while

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide Certificate required.
• Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations.
• Medication certification required.
• One year or more experience as a Home Health Aide preferable.
• Successful completion of 12 hours of in-service education per year.
• Heartsaver First Aid certified at hire or within 3 months of hire required.
• Must be able to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary.
