Qualifications

• Experience repairing heavy-duty trailers.
• Experience with brakes and electrical systems.
• Welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot repairs.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Truck and diesel engine experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and participate in OEM training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trailers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain trailer braking systems and components.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• Perform DOT inspections.
• Complete repairs and maintenance per company standards and regulations.
• Document work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Work with other technicians to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Help keep our fleet safe, reliable, and road-ready.
