Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, located in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper – Ambulatory Services for Nemours Wilmington. The shift is Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with weekends as needed. No prior experience required.

As part of a healthcare-focused cleaning team, you will disinfect ambulatory facilities, restrooms, exam rooms, and patient areas using provided chemicals, while maintaining safety and teamwork across environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects surfaces with provided chemicals.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Cleans reception glass and entrance windows.
• Moves chairs/stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, small equipment on wheels, scales, and other items for proper cleaning.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Collects and disposes of general trash and biohazardous waste.
• Replenishes soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other items.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
