Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a Grossing Technician I to perform gross examinations of surgical specimens and support histology processing. The role requires attention to specimen labeling, description of gross features, and accurate documentation of measurements and findings.

You’ll work on routine and some non-routine cases under supervision. The position is Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with a starting pay rate around $24.03 per hour and eligibility for annual bonus

Qualifications

• 1 year of histology and/or grossing experience.
• Entry-level grossing position with supervision as needed.
• Current state licensure, if applicable (Required).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine grossing activities for surgical specimens.
• Accessioning and labeling with maintained specimen integrity.
• Describe gross features and document measurements / findings.
• Dissect specimens and prepare tissues for processing.
• Follow safety, QA, and regulatory standards.
