Job summary

Allegiance Industries in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Part-time 2nd Shift General Cleaner to support our manufacturing facility.

You will clean buildings, empty trash, stock restrooms, handle cleaning agents, and move items as needed. Reliable transportation and ability to follow schedules are required. On-the-job training provided; shift is 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday with Sunday flex hours. EOE.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and dexterity required.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to follow schedules and directions from a supervisor.
• Demonstrates professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning other surfaces
• Gather and empty trash
• Supply, clean and service restrooms
• Mix various cleaning agents according to specifications
• Move heavy equipment, objects, or furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Possible floor work (steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, buffing)
• Other duties as assigned
