Job summary

Sentral Services is seeking a Part-Time General Cleaner in Columbia, MD, to maintain clean facilities on a Monday to Friday 5pm–9pm schedule. This role is physical, requires reliability and the ability to work independently or with a small team.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and trash removal, while adhering to safety policies and maintaining cleaning charts and supplies. Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keeps premises of building in clean and orderly condition
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Clean and supply restrooms
• Remove waste and empty trash
• Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Organize janitorial storage areas
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned.
