Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dekalb, IL is seeking a Material Handler to perform warehouse duties such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation in a fast paced, safety oriented facility.

You will contribute to accurate cycle counts and efficient product flow, working on the E shift with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Ryder emphasizes teamwork, training, and career growth, with supportive leadership, paid training, medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to operate within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Process day-to-day paperwork such as packing lists and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
