Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to support the Food And Nutritional Svcs team. This role covers evenings and weekends, with a 4:00pm–8:00pm shift and patient/employee tray service on campus.

The position requires food prep experience or a high school diploma with related training, and involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is posted at $17.23 per hour, with benefits typical of part-time service staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent or food prep experience.
• Food preparation vocational training preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mixes ingredients for cold dishes and beverages.
• Make toast, prepares short order foods on grill and fried foods.
• Assembles food for patients and serves employees, visitors, and students.
• Deliver trays to patient bedside
