Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Food Service Assistant for our assisted living facility. The role involves monitoring food temperatures, serving meals, restocking, and maintaining a clean service area. You may also assist with housekeeping and laundry and will handle payments at the point of sale.

Position is PRN with evenings and some daytime shifts, including weekends. Benefits vary by status; on-site work at Albion, NE with potential for advancement and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Previous customer service experience, retail counting and reconciliation of money and knowledge of food service preferred.
• Reading, writing and following oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area.
• Prepare, serve and restock food items; operate related equipment as needed.
• Receive payments for food and beverages; perform cash handling duties.
• May include housekeeping and laundry of resident rooms and public spaces.
