Hyp-Tro Building Services is seeking a Floor Technician / Special Project for an evening shift. This part-time role runs 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

with four days per week, alternating weekends and rotating holidays. The position emphasizes carpet and floor care, operation of professional cleaning equipment, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should have at least 2 years of related experience, be able to read/write/speak English, and be willing to learn floor care and special projects.

Formación

• Requires ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs routinely and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to push/pull 200 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Clean carpets using vacuum, extractor or bonnet buff for spot removal.
• Sweep and mop floors; scrub, strip and refinish hard surfaces; sanitize.
• Report damaged carpets/floors and stain issues; handle floor chemicals per directions.
• Maintain and store floor equipment; perform minor repairs and report malfunctions.
• Use cleaning products per directions and wear PPE per hospital guidelines.
• Move furniture and equipment as directed; perform room setup/teardown for events.
• Attend mandatory training sessions; complete task reports during shifts.
